The Leck's 1st musical steps were, when aged 10, he was asked to join the famous Paisley Abbey Choir in Scotland. This 60 strong choir appeared on t.v and radio and performed all over Scotland. His love of music pushed him to join a band in 1968 and went on to play U.S and British Forces bases in Germany, Belgium and Gibraltar. He moved to Newcastle in 1973 and spent over 20 years playing the club circuit most noticeably in top "resident" band Video.
He then played the pub circuit with bands such as Rockfiles, Blueprint, Icebreaker and Blues Unlimited which brings us up to date with Last Minute. The Leck feels he has had a new lease of musical life since joining the band. He is performing with three great musicians but more importantly three good lads.
